Walk Across Sumner 5k and Fun Run

The Walk Across Sumner event on October 17, 2026, includes a community 5k walk and a 1-mile fun run held at Triple Creek Park, starting at the large pavilion near the soccer fields. Participants follow the park greenway during the route. The event uses glow sticks and blacklights as part of the evening atmosphere.

All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

The event raises money for physical education programs at schools in Sumner County. In the four weeks leading up to the event, participants may complete an Activity BINGO sheet as part of a walking campaign; completed sheets can be turned in in person on race day and enter the participant into a prize drawing.
