Wagga Half Marathon
The Wagga Race Series, presented by Wagga Foot Clinic, takes place at the Riverside Precinct in Wagga Wagga. The event offers a flat course along the Wiradjuri Walking Track between Wiradjuri Reserve and Copeland Street and includes several distances to choose from:
- Half Marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2 km Family Dash
All distances are professionally chip timed by Multisport Australia. Event finishers receive a Wagga-themed medal, post-race snacks, sponsor giveaways, and an online finishers' certificate. There is a cut-off time of 3.5 hours for the Half Marathon; the 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km have no cut-off time.
The 2 km Family Dash is aimed at young participants; an accompanying adult may run for an additional fee, but the accompanying adult will not be timed and will not receive a finisher’s medal. Race bibs are printed three weeks before race day and are posted two weeks out; to have a name on the bib register at least three weeks before the event.
The event village is reachable by walking, cycling, or car; public transport is not available on Sunday mornings. Photographers will be on course. Participants should be aware there will be other pedestrians, cyclists, and dogs on the paths and are asked to pay attention to their surroundings.
Registration for both series races offers 10% off plus a free series T-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
