Wagga Race Series
The Wagga Race Series is held at the Riverside Precinct in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. It features two events for the year: one on 19th April 2026 and another on 22nd November 2026. Participants can register for one event or both as part of the series.
The event offers four distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10km
- 5km
- 2km Family Dash
All races take place on a flat course along the Wiradjuri Walking Track between Wiradjuri Reserve and Copeland Street. The event village is located at Wagga Beach, a short distance from the central business district. There is no public transport available on Sunday mornings.
All finishers receive a Wagga-themed medal, post-race snacks, sponsor giveaways, and an online finisher's certificate. Every distance is professionally chip-timed. There is no cutoff time for the 2km, 5km, or 10km events. The Half Marathon has a cutoff time of 3.5 hours.
The 2km Family Dash is aimed at getting youngsters involved. An accompanying adult can run with a child for an additional fee; the adult is not timed and does not receive a finisher's medal. Race bibs are printed three weeks before the event and can be posted if registration is completed at least two weeks prior. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
