Event overview
The Wagga Race Series is presented by the Wagga Foot Clinic at the Riverside Precinct in Wagga Wagga, 2650. The series includes two events in 2026: Race 1 on 19 April and Race 2 on 15 November. The event offers the following race distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10km
- 5km
- 2km Family Dash
Course and race-day details
Races run on a flat course along the Wiradjuri Walking Track between Wiradjuri Reserve and Copeland Street, with the event village located near Wagga Beach. All distances are chip timed by Multisport Australia. Finishers receive a Wagga-themed medal, post-race snacks, sponsor giveaways and an online finishers certificate. A photographer will be on course. Participants should expect other pedestrians, cyclists and dogs on the paths and are advised to pay attention to others.
Entries, timing and other rules
Entries include tiered pricing (early bird, standard, late) that varies by distance. There is no cut-off time for the 2km, 5km or 10km; the Half Marathon has a 3.5-hour cut-off. Race bibs are printed three weeks before the event and posted two weeks out; registrations completed at least three weeks before the race allow names on bibs. The 2km Family Dash permits an accompanying adult for an additional $10; that adult will not be timed and will not receive a medal. Registering for both events in the series provides a 10% discount and a free Series T-shirt. Volunteers are offered future race entry (up to $60), an event t-shirt and morning refreshments.
