Wagga 5000
The Wagga 5000 is a track running event held at the Bill Jacob Athletics Centre in Bourkelands, Wagga Wagga, on November 7, 2026. The event takes place on the venue's newly refurbished track and features multiple 5000 metre races run across the program to provide space on the track and a competitive atmosphere.
Participants can opt into pace groups to run at a chosen speed. The full event schedule is published one week before the event.
Available races:
- 5 km race for general entrants.
- 5 km race for runners 15 years and under.
Registration is open with published entry fees: the general 5 km fee and a reduced fee for the 15 and under category. Pricing windows and early bird periods are listed during registration, and registration closes prior to the event.
