VPM Purses in Paradise
The VPM Purses in Paradise is a fundraiser event located in Manteno, Illinois, approximately 50 minutes from Chicago. The event serves as the first annual fundraiser for the Virtual Purse Museum. Participation supports the Vintage Purse Museum, NFP, which provides workforce development, job training, and employment opportunities for adults with disabilities.
The course is flat and takes participants through the historic Diversatech campus. The route features historic architecture and includes various activities held at the museum as part of the annual Luau Marketplace. Attendees can experience live ukulele music and view artwork created by museum employees and volunteers.

- 1.5 mile walk
The venue is situated at a restored historic landmark. On the day of the event, there is an open house at the museum, along with sponsor tents, a marketplace, and food trucks. Registration for the event includes a ticket for a full museum tour to be used at a later date.
