VPM Purses in Paradise
VPM Purses in Paradise is the Vintage Purse Museum's first annual fundraiser, held on August 29, 2026. The event is a run and walk that goes through the historic Diversatech campus. All proceeds support the Virtual Purse Museum and the Vintage Purse Museum, NFP, which provides workforce development, job training, and employment opportunities for adults with disabilities while offering inclusive cultural and historical experiences.
The course is described as flat and is part of the museum's Luau Marketplace. Event features include a historic architecture route, live ukulele music, artwork by museum employees and volunteers, a museum open house, sponsor tents, a marketplace, and food trucks. Registration includes a VIP ticket for a full museum tour at a later date with a 10% VIP discount in the gift shop, plus a commemorative race/event T-shirt.
