Virginia Marathon : Middleburg, VA (March 22, 2026)
The Virginia Marathon, organized by Old Dominion Racing, is a live race that starts and finishes at The Hill School in Middleburg, Virginia. The course runs on paved roads with some gravel through Loudoun and Fauquier counties, passing horse farms, rolling countryside and shaded sections. A Merikós route includes climbing Bull Run Mountain with a stated elevation gain of 3000+ ft.

Race details and services
Full marathon finishers receive a VAM hoodie. All participants receive a commemorative tech shirt and finishers receive a medal. Food and drink offerings include Great Harvest scones, MooThru ice cream, hot chocolate/coffee, HoneyStinger snacks, and three food/drink vouchers attached to each bib. Personal items may be left at the Start/Finish area in a coat-check style.
Aid and logistics: bottled water/gatorade and packaged snacks are provided at waterstands. Marathon waterstands are at 1.55Mi, 3.1Mi, 5Mi, 9Mi, 13Mi, 16Mi, 19.65Mi, 23.1Mi, and 24.65Mi; other races use proportional locations. Bathrooms are on course and at the start/finish. Packet pickup is available at PR Run and Walk in Leesburg the day before and at The Hill School on race day. On-site parking is available at The Hill School for a nominal fee; a shuttle option runs from the Dulles Airport Marriott for a fee. A portion of net proceeds benefits the Piedmont Environmental Council and The Hill School. Time limits apply for each distance; the marathon has a 22-mile cutoff of 6 hours.
