Event overview
The Virginia Marathon is organized by Old Dominion Racing and takes place in Middleburg, Virginia on Sunday, March 22, 2026. The course runs through Loudoun and Fauquier counties, starting and ending at The Hill School in Middleburg. The route mainly follows paved roads with some gravel, and passes horse farms, wineries, rolling countryside and shaded sections. Middleburg is about 30 minutes from Dulles International Airport.

Logistics and amenities
Packet pickup is available at PR Run and Walk in Leesburg the day before the event and at The Hill School on race day. Water stations for the Marathon are located at multiple mile markers and will provide bottled water, sports drink and packaged snacks; bathrooms are provided on the route and at the start/finish. Full Marathon finishers receive a VAM hoodie; participants receive a commemorative tech shirt and a finisher medal. The event provides post-race food, HoneyStinger snacks, and three vouchers on each bib for food and drinks.
