Ringing in Hope: Jingle Bell Rock and Run
Ringing in Hope is a holiday-themed running event held on the Christian Fellowship Church campus in Ashburn, VA. The event offers timed races and a short fun run, along with on-site activities and support for a designated charity.
Available race options include:
- 10K timed race
- 5K timed race
- 1-Mile Jammie Jingle Fun Run/Walk for ages 3 and over
On the event grounds there is live entertainment, seasonal music, a Jingle Bell Holiday Market with the Ashbrook Farmers Market, vendor stalls, and food available at the finish line. Participants receive commemorative large finisher medals and jingle bells; a race tech shirt is optional. Family-oriented features include an activity center for children and designated family activities. Free massage service is available at the finish area.
The event organizes awards for the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-85, and 86 & Over. A special trophy is awarded to the largest team in the timed races.
The designated charity is INOVA Peterson Life With Cancer. Participants are asked to consider donations, fundraising, corporate matching, or bringing donated items to packet pickup or registration day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
