Virgin River Half Marathon
The Virgin River Half Marathon is a road and trail running event held in St. George, Utah on February 13, 2027. The race uses paved city trails that run alongside the Virgin River and pass through scenic areas of the city. The event includes multiple distance options:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Fun Run - 200 meters and 1 mile
Packet pickup is scheduled for February 12, 2027 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dixie Convention Center, 1835 S Convention Center Dr., St. George. Runners who cannot pick up their packet on that date must inform organizers in advance to ensure they receive their bib. Course maps and a race guide are provided for participants.
Aid stations are positioned approximately every 2 to 3 miles; each station offers water and Gatorade, and 2 or 3 stations will also supply energy gel. The half marathon has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes, after which athletes may remain on the course but course support will end. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K, and age category awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each five-year age group.
