Hungry Hustle Ugly Sweater 5K Fun Run and Fundraiser
The Hungry Hustle Ugly Sweater event is a holiday themed 5k fun run and fundraiser organized by Tan’s Treats. The course follows the Virgin River Trail at Sullivan Virgin River Soccer Park and is set up as an out and back route, allowing participants to turn around at any point. Individuals who do not complete the full 5k course are not eligible for prizes.
Water and Gatorade are available at the start line, at mile 0.5, mile 1.5, mile 2.5, and at the finish. Packet pickup is located at the fishing pond gazebo on the south end of Sullivan Park, where registrants receive a race shirt and race packet swag; shirt availability depends on order volume and is limited by registrant counts. Parking is described as adequate near the gazebo and starting line.
Post race provisions include light refreshments, pancakes and hot chocolate. Awards are given to the top finishers by gender for first through third place and there are separate Ugliest Sweater Awards. Registration fees listed in event materials note that an individual entry provides 100 plus meals for children and a family entry for up to six people provides 300 plus meals.
