Vincent's Run

Vincent's Run is a community fundraising event held at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, New Jersey. It includes a 5K, a 1 Mile Walk, and a Virtual 5K. The 5K uses a USATF certified course and is timed by Split Second Racing. The 1 Mile Walk is untimed.

Distances:

• 5K: USATF certified course, timed, includes t-shirt.
• 1 Mile Walk: untimed, includes t-shirt, strollers and dogs permitted.
• Virtual 5K: run or walk remotely, submit results, includes t-shirt.

Registration fees are stated for each event with the 5K fee at $40 and the 1 Mile Walk and Virtual 5K fees at $30. Register by April 1 to guarantee a race t-shirt. Check-in and packet pickup occur before the races. Awards are presented immediately following the 5K; finisher awards are given to the top two male and female overall 5K finishers and to top male and female finishers in age groups. The event features DJ entertainment and raffles. Participants are asked to observe event rules that prohibit strollers and dogs on the 5K course.

All net proceeds benefit the Vincent R. Gagliardi Foundation to fund an annual memorial scholarship for Somerville High School students and to support driver safety education. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
