Event Overview
The Spartan Spirit 5K is a run/walk event taking place on Saturday, May 30, 2026. The course goes through the historic streets of downtown Somerville, New Jersey. The start and finish line is at Immaculata High School, located at 240 Mountain Avenue.
Events and Entry
The event includes three race categories:
- Spartan Spirit 5K: General entry.
- Spartan Spirit 5K - under 18 years old: For participants under 18.
- Spartan Dash - Ages 9 and under: A free event for younger participants.
Entry fees are $30 for adults with an early-bird rate, $25 for students under 18, and $45 for same-day registration.
Event Details
Registration and bib pick-up is available on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Somerville Elks Lodge in Bridgewater. It is also available on race day at the Immaculata High School gym entrance from 7:00 to 8:00 AM.
The race entry includes a post-race awards ceremony, breakfast, and access to a beverage garden. An awards ceremony begins at 10:00 AM, with prizes for overall top finishers, alumni finishers, and top three in each age group.
Funds raised from the event support financial aid for local parish schools. Parking on-site at the high school is limited. Participants are advised to use the parking lot at Immaculate Conception Church and School and walk over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
