Valhalla Winter Run

The Valhalla Winter Run 2025 is a 6-hour timed trail running event held on Saturday, 13th December, at the University of York Sports Centre. Participants run laps of a 2.2-mile out-and-back course featuring a slight ascent, challenging by local standards. Runners choose their distance, from a single lap to multiple laps equating to half marathon, marathon, or continuous running for the full six hours.

The event offers a festive atmosphere with homemade cake, mulled wine, and goody bags for all finishers, who also receive a bespoke medal.
