Even Splits York 5K (June 2026)
The Even Splits York 5K takes place on the University of York Sport Village cycle circuit. The event is a road race over 5 Kilometres, held as five laps on a flat course. Races run monthly from February to November on the same circuit.
The event is chip-timed and holds an England Athletics licence; results appear on Power of 10. Finish-line results are sent by text and kilometre splits are published the following day. Entrants receive a race number with an embedded timing chip the first time they race; that chip number can be reused at York and Leeds 5K events. Previously issued red 5K numbers from 2020–25 may be used again if recorded on the entry form. Each entrant is entitled to one free number replacement in a 12 month period; subsequent replacements are charged at £4.
Entry is limited to 200 places. Single-race fees are listed as £10 (affiliated) and £12 (unaffiliated); multi-race passes for June to November are offered at £47 (affiliated) and £56 (unaffiliated). Facilities at Race HQ include water, distance markers and toilets; there are no changing rooms, showers or baggage storage. A place may be deferred once to the next race in the same calendar year if requested at least three days before race day. There are no refunds and places cannot be transferred.
