EvenSplits York 5k

The EvenSplits York 5k is a road race held at the University of York Sport Village Cycle Circuit. The event takes place on a flat, purpose-built circuit located at Heslington East. Participants complete a total of 5 km over a course consisting of five laps. The venue provides access to toilets and water, though there are no changing facilities, showers, or baggage storage areas available on-site.

This event is part of a monthly series running from February to November. The course is designed for speed and is suitable for those looking to monitor their progress over the season. The race is EA licensed and chip-timed, with results appearing on the Power of 10. Participants receive their finish times via text message immediately after the race, and detailed kilometre splits are provided the following day. All finishers receive a chocolate bar upon completion of the event.

Entry is open to both affiliated and unaffiliated runners, with a maximum capacity of 200 participants. Runners who have previously received a red race number from earlier seasons can reuse it, provided the number is recorded during the entry process. New participants receive a race number with an embedded timing chip that is also valid for the Leeds 5k events. Registration and number collection take place at the race headquarters at the cycle circuit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
