Vaisakhi 5K - Run for Fauja Singh 2027
The Vaisakhi 5K - Run for Fauja Singh 2027 is presented as an annual community road run that celebrates Sikh faith and community while honoring Fauja Singh. Registration is not yet open; the organizer will open registration ahead of the event and offers a notification sign-up for updates.
Amenities for participants include live online, text and email results, free finish line photos and same-day video, a complimentary T shirt, refreshments served before and after the run, personalized bibs for runners who register at least 3 weeks in advance, and a medal for every participant.
Awards are given to the top three men and top three women overall, plus top finisher in male and female age groups including 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 and over. Bib pickup is handled by event staff starting one hour before the event; a bib number is required for pickup and can be obtained via self lookup. Registrants within 24 hours of the event receive their bib number by text, typically within 90 seconds.
A course map and an interactive map are provided. The mapped course shows a midpoint U turn; on return runners veer right and complete one lap counter clockwise to reach the finish line.
