The Uwharrie Brewing Firehouse 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk takes place on October 3, 2026 in Albemarle, NC. The event is centered at Uwharrie Brewing, 121 N. 3rd Street, Albemarle, NC 28001. Distances offered include:

- H4G 1-Mile Run/Walk
The 5K run is a timed event. The 1-mile run/walk is a non timed event. Virtual entrants will have their race T-shirt mailed to them. Participants who register by October 1 will receive a race T-shirt.
Logistics and awards
Packet pickup is scheduled on October 2 at Uwharrie Brewing, with additional pickup on race day. Participants over 21 will receive a complimentary Uwharrie beer after the race; participants under 21 or those who prefer not to drink alcohol may choose a soft drink, coffee, tea, or lemonade. After-race activities include games, face painting, coloring books, free ice cream, and fire safety demonstrations by the Albemarle Fire Department.
Top three male and female finishers in the 5K will receive custom engraved mugs. Age group winners will receive custom designed medals. Age groups are: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; Over 70. Proceeds for the 5K benefit the Uwharrie Brewing Running Club. Proceeds for the 1-mile run/walk benefit H4G.
