About the race
The Chi Sigma Club of Mt. Gilead presents the 6th Annual Jingle Bell Jaunt Fun Run on December 5, 2026 in Mt. Gilead, North Carolina. The event serves as the official kickoff to Christmas on the Square and offers two distance options on the same looped course around the town.
Participants receive Christmas swag and post-race treats, and prizes will be awarded for best holiday costume. Timing for the event is provided by Junction 311. T-shirt availability is not guaranteed for registrations completed after November 29. Packet pick-up and award details are pending.
Course and participant notes:
- 1.5 Mile one loop; fee $25
- 3.1 Miles (5k) two loops; fee $35
Porta johns will be available on N. Main Street. Parking is available at First United Methodist Church at 100 N. Main St., Mt. Gilead, NC 27306. Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. One hundred percent of proceeds benefit the Shop with a Cop program. The Chi Sigma Club of Mt. Gilead is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and states that all funds raised support the local Shop with a Cop effort. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
