Event overview
The Uwharrie 100 Mile and 100K Trail Run takes place in the Uwharrie National Forest near Troy, NC on October 18-19, 2025. The course is a 20.5 mile figure-8 loop of technical trails with roots and rocks under a forest canopy. Runners in the 100 Mile event complete five loops; 100K runners complete three loops. Because of the technical nature of the course, there is a 36 hour cutoff for both races. The field is limited to 150 total runners across both distances.
