Utah Human Race
The Utah Human Race is an annual Thanksgiving running event held in Sandy, Utah on November 26, 2026. The event is the 21st edition and typically draws nearly 5,000 participants who come together to support Utah Food Bank.
The event offers two distances:
- 5K, registration fee $25
- 10K, registration fee $30
Registration opens September 30, 2026 and closes October 31, 2026. There is no same-day registration and timing chips are not used. Every registration directly benefits Utah Food Bank and helps provide meals to neighbors in need. The event highlights local food insecurity, noting that 445,000 Utahns are at risk of missing a meal, including one in five children.
