Cold Turkey Run - Salt Lake City
SportsAmEvents stages the Cold Turkey Run in Salt Lake City with options for adults and children. The event includes a 6K for runners, walkers, and strollers and a Kids 1K for children, with start and finish areas northeast of the State Capitol and a finish at Memory Grove for the 6K. The Kids 1K starts and finishes at Bonneville Blvd. northeast of the State Capitol.
Entry fees are listed in the event information: the 6K fee is $35 and the Kids 1K fee is $15; the 6K registration increases to $38 on Nov. 10. Declining a shirt reduces the entry fee by $5. Participants who order shirts after 11/18/2026 can pick them up at Salt Lake Running Co. between 12/05/26 and 12/10/26. Packet pickup takes place at Salt Lake Running Co., 700 E. 2454 S., on Nov. 24.
Awards are provided through third place for male and female age groups ranging from 10 and under through 80 plus, plus first through third awards for strollers and walkers. All kids receive finish awards. The event also issues lifetime medals and commemorative pins for SportsAmEvents participants. Parking is available at the State Capitol.
