Turkey Trot at Solitude Ski Resort
The 2026 Thanksgiving Turkey Trot at Solitude Ski Resort includes a marked 5K course, a one mile hike, and a kids fun run. All events start and finish at Solitude’s Moonbeam Lodge at Entry 1.

- 5K : 3.45 miles, 633 feet of elevation gain
- 1 mile hike
- Kids fun run
The 5K is a mountain race with a starting elevation of 8,000 feet. Participants should expect colder conditions on course; spikes may be needed and wildlife such as moose may be encountered. Parking is free.
Entry fees listed by the organizer are $25 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 mile hike. All finishers receive breakfast refreshments and are entered into a raffle with items including Thanksgiving fixins, Solitude merchandise, gift cards, and sponsor items.
