USATF-LI Developmental Race Walks
This event is scheduled for May 2027 in Hauppauge, New York, at the H. Lee Dennison County Executive Building complex on Veterans Memorial Highway. It features judged race walking competitions held on a closed, internationally certified 1 km circuit named the Walter Hawrys 1 km Race Walk Circuit (USATF-NY16075JG / IAAF-AIMS USA-2023-TBA).
The event includes the following distances:
- 5K Race Walk
- Half marathon Race Walk
The course is a closed loop certified for international competition and is conducted as judged race walks. All finishers receive a medal. Results are provided live online and by text and email, and finish line photos and video are available free of charge.
