Event Overview
The US Road Running Medal Madness event in Winston-Salem offers three distances on Saturday, March 21, 2026. The races start at Jamison Park, located at 285 Meadowlark Drive.
Race Distances
Participants can choose from:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
Course Details
All courses are out-and-back routes. The 5K and 10K share a 3.11-mile out-and-back loop. The 5K is completed by running this loop once, while the 10K requires running it twice. The half marathon course uses a separate 3.28-mile out-and-back loop, which participants run four times to complete the full distance.
Event Logistics
Registration is required online via RunSignup and must be completed in advance; there is no on-site registration available on race day. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start and concludes 10 minutes before the start. A time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is in effect for the courses.
