Event Information
The Lucky 5K/10K/Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Jamison Park in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
Distances
The event offers three in-person distances and corresponding virtual options. In-person events include:

- 10K
- Half Marathon
Each in-person distance has a "No Shirt" registration option, and virtual races are available for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon.
Course Details
The course is described as "super flat and fast." It is based on a 5K loop. The 10K consists of two laps, and the Half Marathon consists of three laps. Water stations are located approximately every 1.5 miles. The course has a 3.5-hour cutoff time for the half marathon, equating to a 16-minute-per-mile pace.
Registration and Awards
Participants who register by March 12 are guaranteed a shirt in their size. All participants receive a custom finisher medal. Awards are given for top finishers in various categories, including overall, masters, grand masters, senior masters, and standard 5-year age groups.
Additional Information
Packet pickup occurs on race morning, starting one hour before the race. The event uses the RaceJoy mobile app for live tracking and progress alerts. Team discounts are available for groups of five or more participants. All registered participants qualify for a free entry into a Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trot event in 2025.
