Holiday Road Race at Lake Beresford Park
The US Road Running event in Deland, Florida, takes place at Lake Beresford Park. This holiday-themed race offers multiple distance options held on established out-and-back courses. Registration is required in advance through RunSignup, as there is no on-site registration available.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K: Completed by running the out-and-back course twice.
- 10K: Completed by running the out-and-back course four times.
- Half Marathon: Completed by running the out-and-back course six times.
The courses are designed as loops; the 5K and 10K utilize a 0.78-mile out-and-back segment, while the Half Marathon uses a 1.09-mile out-and-back segment. There is a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants. All finishers receive a medal for their participation.
Parking at the immediate start location is limited. An overflow parking area is located approximately 0.50 miles away from the start line. Packet pickup is conducted on the morning of the event, beginning 30 minutes before the start and concluding 10 minutes prior to the race.
