Event overview
The Medal Madness event takes place on December 12, 2026, at Lake Beresford Park in Deland, FL (2100 Fatio Rd, Deland, FL 32720). The event is organized by US Road Running and includes the following race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1M)
All participants must register online via RunSignup. There is no on-site registration.
Courses and logistics
The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back segment of 1.56 miles; the 5K repeats that out-and-back twice and the 10K repeats it four times. The Half Marathon uses an out-and-back segment of 2.18 miles and repeats that six times. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Packet pickup is available beginning 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race starts. Parking at the start is limited; overflow parking is 0.50 miles away and participants should allow time to reach the start from there.
