US Road Running - DeLand
US Road Running hosts a series of races in DeLand, Florida, featuring three distinct distances on out-and-back courses. The event takes place at 2100 Fatio Rd and offers options for runners interested in shorter or mid-range distances. Participation requires advance registration through RunSignup, as there is no registration available at the venue on the day of the event.
The available race distances include:
- 5K: This course involves repeating a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop two times.
- 10K: This race follows the same out-and-back loop as the 5K, completed four times.
- Half Marathon: This race follows a 2.18-mile out-and-back loop, completed six times.
The event has a total time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants. Packet pickup for registered runners begins 30 minutes before the start and concludes 10 minutes prior to the commencement of the races. All finishers receive a commemorative medal upon completing their chosen distance.
Parking at the immediate start location is limited. Participants are encouraged to use the designated overflow parking area located approximately 0.50 miles away. Runners should account for the time needed to travel from the overflow lot to the starting line.
