Event overview
The Medal Madness event takes place on June 20, 2026, at John Slidell Park in Slidell, Louisiana (105 Robert Blvd, Slidell, LA 70458). The event includes three race distances: 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. All runners must register through RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The event notes finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume category, series points, and awards.
Course and logistics
The courses are out-and-back routes. The shorter loop measures 0.78 miles; the 5K uses that loop two times and the 10K uses it four times. The half marathon uses a 1.09-mile loop repeated six times. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies. Parking is available at a pinned location on the event map within walking distance of the start and finish area.
