Q50 Races Bleau Moon
Q50 Races Bleau Moon is a night trail event held at Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville, Louisiana. The course is a single loop with start and finish at the park's main pavilion and is run on trail surfaces. The course will be marked with night tape and glow sticks and Q50 volunteers will be positioned along the route. Runners must provide their own light as there are no course lights.
Distances offered:
- 5 miles
- 10 miles
Only individual entries are permitted and there are no refunds. Both distances have a time limit of two hours and thirty minutes. The only on-course aid is at the start/finish; water will be provided for filling personal bottles or camelbacks. Cups will not be supplied and volunteers will dispense water and Gatorade at the aid point. Participants are required to carry out their trash and follow environmental rules; removal of natural items from the course is prohibited.
Mandatory gear includes a headlamp with batteries, a whistle, and a water bottle or camelback. Additional race rules prohibit dogs, pacers, baby strollers, bicycles, and earphones on the course. A park entrance fee applies per person. Runners are expected to be medically fit to participate and responsible for their own safety and supplies.
