Event overview
The Luau event is scheduled for May 16, 2026, at John Slidell Park in Slidell, LA (105 Robert Blvd, 70458). The event includes the following race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1M)
All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies. Finisher medals, a shirt and gear offering, awards, series points, and a best-costume recognition are part of the event program.
Course and logistics
Courses are out-and-back formats using short loop segments. The 5K and 10K use a 0.78 mile loop (1.56 miles out-and-back); the 5K completes that loop twice and the 10K completes it four times. The Half Marathon uses a 1.09 mile loop (2.16 miles out-and-back) and completes it six times. Parking is available at a pinned location on the event map within walking distance of the start and finish areas.
