Event Overview
The US Road Running event at Silver Springs Shores takes place at the Baseline Road Trailhead in Ocala, Florida. This athletic gathering features multiple distance options on a paved surface. Participants must complete their registration through the designated online platform, as no on-site registration is provided. All finishers receive a commemorative medal at the conclusion of their respective events.
The meeting area and packet pickup are located at Pavilion 1, which is situated near the parking lot and designated as the furthest pavilion from the playground. Restroom facilities are available in the playground area.
Distance Options
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 5K: A 3.11-mile out-and-back course completed one time.
- 10K: The 3.11-mile out-and-back course completed two times.
- Half Marathon: A 3.275-mile out-and-back course completed four times.
The event has a maximum course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants. Additionally, walkers and runners are invited to participate in a best costume competition held at the beginning of the race. Results from these races contribute to the US Road Running series points.
