Event Overview
The US Road Running event at Silver Springs Shores takes place at the Baseline Road Trailhead in Ocala, Florida. This organized run features a paved course suitable for multiple distances. All participants must register in advance through the designated online platform, as there is no registration available at the event site on race day.
Participants will meet for packet pickup at Pavilion 1, which is located near the parking lot and away from the playground area. Facilities, including bathrooms, are available near the playground. The event has a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants.
Distances
The race offers three different distance options:
- 5K: A single out-and-back loop totaling 3.11 miles.
- 10K: Two laps of the out-and-back course.
- Half Marathon: Four laps of an out-and-back course totaling approximately 13.1 miles.
Race Experience
All finishers receive a themed medal upon completion of their event. The race also features a best costume competition, and participants can earn points toward the US Road Running series.
