Event Overview
The US Road Running event at the Baseline Road Trailhead in Ocala features a series of races held on a paved course. This athletic gathering offers three distinct distances for participants to choose from:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
Course Details
The event is conducted on a paved, out-and-back route. The 5K and 10K events use a 1.56-mile section, resulting in a 3.11-mile out-and-back loop. Runners in the 5K complete this loop once, while those in the 10K complete it twice. The Half Marathon follows a slightly different 1.64-mile section, creating a 3.275-mile out-and-back loop that participants must complete four times. There is a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all events.
Participant Information
All attendees must register via the online platform as no on-site registration is available on the morning of the event. Packet pickup is conducted at Pavilion 1, which is located near the parking lot and away from the playground area. Facilities, including bathrooms, are situated near the playground.
Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, as there is a designated recognition for the best costume. All finishers receive a commemorative medal upon completing their respective distance.
