Event Overview
The Gobbler event offers several distance options on a paved course at the Baseline Road Trailhead in Ocala, Florida. The overall course time limit is six hours.
Distances
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
Course Details
The course is an out-and-back route on paved surfaces. The 5K and 10K share a loop of 3.11 miles (5 kilometers); the 5K is completed by running the loop once, while the 10K requires two loops. The Half Marathon and Marathon share a separate loop of 3.275 miles (approximately 5.27 kilometers). The half marathon consists of four loops, and the marathon consists of eight loops.
Location and Facilities
The event is based at the Baseline Road Trailhead, with packet pickup at Pavilion 1. This pavilion is noted as the one closest to the parking lot and farthest from the playground. Bathrooms are located near the playground.
Registration and Logistics
All participants must register online; no on-site registration is available. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start and ends 10 minutes before the start. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
