Running with the Herd 5k

Registered 5k participants who register before January 26, 2026 receive a T-shirt. Runners who complete the 5k will receive a 2026 finisher medal. All participants in the Stampede Sprint and Herd Hurdle Havoc receive a plastic participation medal.
Registration fees listed for the 5k are $25 for ages 3 to 17 and $35 for adults. The Stampede Sprint shows a low entry fee and the Herd Hurdle Havoc has a separate fee; age based discounts are applied automatically at checkout. Awards for the 5k include men overall, women overall, and first through third place in each age group.
Packet pickup is available Friday, February 20, 2026 at The Villages Charter Middle School Buffalo Ridge Campus, 251 Buffalo Trail, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and on race morning starting at 6:30 am.
