Course and support
The 55k route passes roughly 40 painted horse installations placed around Marion County, with the largest concentration in Downtown Ocala. The 25k option follows a different route that intersects the 55k course in places and visits at least 25 painted horses. The event is mostly unsupported; there may be some water drops and occasional treats but participants should plan to be largely self-sufficient.
