The Medal Madness 5K & Half Marathon takes place on June 20, 2026, at Halyburton Park in Wilmington, NC 28412. The event includes the following distances:

All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration.

Course and logistics

The course is paved. Parking is at the Lowell Riverfront Dog Park. The 5K uses a 0.78 mile segment that is run as an out-and-back (1.56 miles) twice. The Half Marathon uses a 1.09 mile segment that is run as an out-and-back (2.18 miles) six times. The overall course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
