1 mile Run/Walk

Course and Location

The event starts and finishes at the Southport Waterfront Park. The 5k route goes along the downtown waterfront and through the neighborhood, featuring views of oak trees and coastal breezes from the nearby Cape Fear River. A course map is available.

Schedule and Amenities

Packet pickup is available on Friday, June 26, at Cape Side Brewing on N Howe Street, and again on race morning at the park. Awards will be presented after the races. Handcrafted awards are created by students at South Brunswick High School. A running shirt is included with 5k registration but not with the 1-mile registration.
