Run Global 5K - Wilmington, NC
Run Global 5K is presented as the first-ever Run Global 5K and takes place the weekend of June 13 to June 15, 2026, with the main race day on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The on-site venue is Halyburton Park, 4099 South 17th Street, Wilmington, NC 28412.
The event offers multiple ways to participate:
- 5K Two loops of Halyburton Park; timed.
- 1.3 Mile One loop of Halyburton Park; not timed.
- 5K Virtual Run or walk remotely; results may be submitted on race weekend.
Both in-person distances allow walking or running. The 5K in person is a timed event and follows a two-loop course inside the park. The 1.3 mile course is a single loop and is not timed. Virtual participants may complete the 3.1 mile distance remotely and optionally submit results during the race weekend.
Registration fees for the listed events are $25.00 per entry. In-person registration windows and a separate virtual registration window are provided by the organizer. Online registration deadlines differ by event.
Proceeds support Global Education Ministries, which focuses on founding gospel-saturated schools. GEM currently has five gospel-saturated schools with a sixth in progress, accounting for four in Mexico, one in Colombia, and one in Uganda.
