Medal Madness at Wilmington
The Medal Madness event in Wilmington, North Carolina, takes place at Halyburton Park. This organized running event features two primary distances on a set out-and-back course layout. All participants are required to complete their registration online prior to the event, as no on-site registration is available. Packet pickup is conducted locally shortly before the start.

The 5K course consists of a 0.78-mile segment that creates a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop. Runners in this category complete the out-and-back loop twice. The Half Marathon utilizes a 1.09-mile segment forming a 2.18-mile out-and-back loop. Participants in the Half Marathon complete this loop six times to reach the total distance.
A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is established for the event. Participants receive finisher medals upon completion. The event also includes an optional costume component, with awards available for the best dressed runners.
