Event overview
The Pirate 5K & Half Marathon takes place on April 18, 2026 at Halyburton Park in Wilmington, NC. The event is organized by US Road Running and includes two race distances.
- 5K - out-and-back loop of 1.56 miles repeated twice
- Half Marathon - out-and-back loop of 2.18 miles repeated six times
Course and logistics
The course is fully paved. Parking is available at the Lowell Riverfront Dog Park. All participants must register online through RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The event uses a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The race offers finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume recognition, series points, and awards.
