Event Overview

The Luau 5K & 10K will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Green Hills County Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. The event offers two race distances: a 5K and a 10K.

Logistics and Course

Participants must register online prior to the event; no on-site registration is available. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the start of the race and ends 10 minutes before it begins. The park gate opens at 8:00 AM. Parking and bathrooms are located by the playground on the north side of the park.

The course is concrete and follows an out-and-back format. Participants running the 5K complete the loop twice, while those in the 10K complete it four times. A time limit of two hours applies to both distances.

Awards and Series

All finishers will receive a themed medal. While wearing a costume is not required, it is encouraged, and a group photo is taken at the start of each race.
