Socks & Undie 5k Rundie : April 24–26, 2026
The Socks & Undie 5k Rundie is a series of community 5K events held during race weekend April 24–26, 2026 in Wake County (Raleigh) and Durham County. The events include an in-person timed 5K, an in-person non-timed 5K, a Kids Fun Run for ages 10 and under, and a virtual 5K run/walk option that may be completed during the race weekend.
Proceeds support Note in the Pocket, a nonprofit that provides clothing to children and families; the organization aims to clothe children and families across the Triangle in 2026. Race locations and facilities include the Note in the Pocket Volunteer & Donation Center at 4730 Hargrove Road on the Crossroads Fellowship campus in Raleigh, and New Hope Church at 7619 Fayetteville Road in Durham. The Durham 5K follows the American Tobacco Trail, with start and finish at New Hope Church.
Logistics provided include pre-race packet pick-up on Thursday 4/23 and Friday 4/24 at the local packet locations, and race day packet pick-up beginning at 8:00am. A registration deadline on March 27 at 12:00pm EST is noted for guaranteeing a race t-shirt. The timed in-person events are measured by professional timing services and award custom medals to the top three male and female finishers in standard age brackets.
