Event Details
The Medal Madness 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026 in Piedmont, Alabama. The event is held at Piedmont Park, located at 5960 Old Piedmont Gadsden Hwy.
Registration and Logistics
All participants must register online via RunSignup. There is no on-site registration available on the day of the race. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the start of the event and concludes 10 minutes before it begins.
Race Courses
The event offers three distances: a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon. All courses follow an out-and-back format on shared loops.
- The 5K course covers 1.56 miles total, requiring runners to complete a 0.78-mile out-and-back segment twice.
- The 10K course covers the same 1.56-mile total distance, requiring runners to complete the 0.78-mile out-and-back segment four times.
- The Half Marathon course covers 2.18 miles total, requiring runners to complete a 1.09-mile out-and-back segment six times.
