Chief Ladiga 100 is a set of paved-trail races organized by Zombie Trail Races in Jacksonville, Alabama in April 2027. Distances offered include:
- 100 Mile
- 50 Mile
- 50K
- Half Marathon
The 100 Mile course runs 50 miles on pavement from Jacksonville to Nathan Dean Park in Rockmart, GA and returns to the Jacksonville Community Center to complete 100 miles. The course follows the country’s longest paved trail through wetlands, streams, forests, and farmland, with total elevation gain and loss around 3,500 ft. Organizers list 14 aid station stops, none more than 8 miles apart, and note that crews can access all but two of those stops. The 100 Mile event has a 32 hour cutoff.
The 50 Mile begins at Germania Springs, proceeds to the state line, and returns to the Jacksonville Community Center. The 50K is a point-to-point from the state line; the half marathon is a point-to-point from Eubanks Welcome Center in Piedmont to the Jacksonville Community Center. A shuttle option is available for $20. Finish-line provisions include food, beverages, music, and participant apparel; finishers receive a buckle or finisher medal. The event lists Zombie Trail Races as organizer.
