Chief Ladiga 100 : Jacksonville, AL
Chief Ladiga 100 is a multi-distance trail and paved-trail event held in Jacksonville, Alabama in April 2027. The event uses the paved Chief Ladiga Trail and highlights wetlands, streams, forests, farmlands, and mountain views along the trail.
Distances offered:
- 100 mile course out-and-back between Jacksonville and Nathan Dean Park in Rockmart, GA
- 50 mile point-to-point starting near Germania Springs and returning to Jacksonville
- 50K point-to-point from the state line area
- Half marathon point-to-point from Eubanks Welcome Center in Piedmont to Jacksonville
The 100 mile course covers 50 miles to Nathan Dean Park and back on smooth pavement, with total elevation change around 3,500 ft and a 32 hour cutoff. Aid stations are spaced no more than 8 miles apart; there are 14 stops and crews can access all but two. Crews have limited access at two aid stations. A shuttle option is available for a fee for some race starts.
Event services at the finish area include food, beverages, and music. All participants receive a t-shirt and finishers receive a buckle or finisher medal. Jacksonville is approximately one hour by car from both Birmingham AL and Atlanta GA and has nearby lodging options. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
