Event Information
The Medal Madness event offers three running distances: 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. It will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
The event location is Blount Cultural Park in Montgomery, Alabama. The address is 1 Festival Dr, Montgomery, AL 36117. Participants are directed to the large parking lot in the center of the park or Scenic Open Space.
Course Details
The courses are structured as out-and-back loops.
- 5K & 10K Course: The basic segment is 0.78 miles (1.56 miles out-and-back). The 5K race completes this loop twice. The 10K race completes the loop four times.
- Half Marathon Course: The basic segment is 1.09 miles (2.18 miles out-and-back). The half marathon race completes this loop six times.
Participant Information
All runners must register online via RunSignup. On-site registration is not available. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the start. There is an overall course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
