Montgomery Jubilee Runs
The Montgomery Jubilee Runs take place on May 16, 2026, in Montgomery, AL, with staging at Old Alabama Town (301 Columbus St). This is the 47th running of the event. The River Region Runners' Club organizes the runs and proceeds will support the Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranches.

Race details
The 8K course is USATF certified (AL19019JE) and is marked. Both the 8K and the 2-mile course run through historic downtown Montgomery and surrounding neighborhoods, finishing downhill into Old Alabama Town. Water stations are located along the courses and traffic control is provided by the Montgomery Police Department.
Both events use chip timing and awards are based on gun time per USATF Rule 245.1. The 8K offers male and female awards for overall places, masters, grandmasters, senior grandmasters, and multiple age-group categories. The 2-mile offers male and female overall and age-group awards. Note that awards are not duplicated.
Race packets are not mailed. Packets will be available for pick-up at Old Alabama Town the day before and on race day and include the official race number and event shirts. To be guaranteed a shirt, registrants must pre-register by May 8, 2026. The event is planned to occur rain or shine; organizers reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances without refunds.
