Montgomery Jubilee Runs : May 16, 2026

The Montgomery Jubilee Runs return for their 47th running on May 16, 2026, staged from Old Alabama Town in Montgomery, AL. The program includes two timed events and uses an 8K course certified by USATF (AL19019JE). Both the 8K and the Peggy Lanier Memorial 2 Mile are chip timed and awards are based on gun time under USATF rules.

The courses run through historic downtown Montgomery and nearby neighborhoods, with a downhill finish into Old Alabama Town. Water stations are placed along the routes and traffic control will be provided by the Montgomery Police Department. The event has been designated the RRCA Alabama 8K State Championship for 2026.

The River Region Runners' Club organizes the event and will raise funds for the Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranches. Race packets are not mailed; they are available for pick-up the day before and the morning of the event and include the official race number and event shirts. To guarantee a shirt, pre-registration must be completed by 5/8/26. The Jubilee Runs reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances; in the event of cancellation there will be no refunds.
