Montgomery Jubilee Runs : May 16, 2026
The Montgomery Jubilee Runs is organized by the River Region Runners' Club and held from Old Alabama Town in Montgomery, Alabama. The event marks the 47th running and will raise funds for the Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranches. The 8K is designated as the Alabama 8K State Championship by the Road Runners Club of America and is a USATF certified course.
The event offers these distances:
- 8K USATF certified course through downtown and neighborhoods.
- Peggy Lanier Memorial 2 Miles run/walk through downtown and neighborhoods.
Both the 8K and the 2 Mile are chip timed. Water stations are placed along the courses. Traffic control is provided by the Montgomery Police Department. Race packets are not mailed; they will be available for pick-up on May 15 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Old Alabama Town (301 Columbus Street) and on race day from 6:00 AM until 7:15 AM. Packets include the official race number and Jubilee Run shirts. To be guaranteed a shirt, registration must be completed by May 7, 2026.
Awards are given to male and female finishers in overall and age group categories for each race, with no duplication of awards. The event is scheduled to occur rain or shine; the organizers reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances, and no refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation.
