The Gobbler event offers 5K, 10K, and half marathon distances at Charlotte's Marion Diehl Park. All races use out-and-back courses starting next to the adaptive field. Online registration is required with a course time limit of three and a half hours.

Event Details

The Gobbler event takes place on November 7, 2026, at Marion Diehl Park in Charlotte. The start line is next to Marion Diehl Adaptive Field. Participants can register for three different distances:

5K (3.11 miles)
10K (6.22 miles)
Half Marathon (13.1 miles)

Course Information

All courses are out-and-back routes. The 5K and 10K share a 1.56-mile out-and-back segment. The 5K completes this segment once, while the 10K completes it twice. The half marathon course uses a separate 1.64-mile out-and-back segment, which participants complete four times to reach the total distance.

A time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies to the course. All runners must register online via RunSignup, as there is no on-site registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
