NoDaWeen Freaky 5K Costume Run
The NoDaWeen Freaky 5K is held on October 24, 2026 in the NoDa neighborhood of Charlotte, with the start and finish at Great Wagon Road Distilling Company, 610 Anderson St, Charlotte, NC 28205. The event is presented by the NoDa Neighborhood and Business Association, a volunteer run 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and is scheduled to take place rain or shine.
The course is on city roads with relatively flat stretches and small hills and is described as spectator friendly. Participants are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes; prizes are awarded for best costumes and for the fastest runners. Prizes are for registered race participants only and winners must be present to collect their prizes. A post race party will be held at Great Wagon Road Distilling Company after the run.
Packet pickup is available the day before and on the day of the event at Great Wagon Road. Pre-registration by October 15, 2026 includes a t-shirt and a swag bag with local items. The event welcomes runners, walkers, families, strollers, teenagers, kids, and leashed, well trained dogs. Net proceeds from the Freaky 5K support NoDa NBA community projects.
