Event
The NODA Halloween Freaky 5k is a community fun run in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is organized by the NoDa Neighborhood and Business Association (NoDa NBA) and takes place at or near the NoDa Company Store, 3221 Yadkin Ave, Charlotte, NC 28205. The event includes the following race categories:
- 5k
- 5k (kids 5-12)
- 5k (kids 0-4)
Details
The course is on city roads and is described as relatively flat with small hills. Participants are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes; prizes are awarded for best costumes and for the fastest runners. A post-run party is held at the NoDa Company Store. Well behaved, leashed dogs are allowed. The event is presented by a 501(c)(3) organization and net proceeds benefit NoDa NBA community projects. Entry fees listed on the event page are $35 for the main 5k, $15 for the kids 5-12 category, and no fee for the kids 0-4 category.
