NoDaWeen Freaky 5K Costume Run
The NoDaWeen Freaky 5K is a community fun run held in NoDa and centered at Great Wagon Road Distilling Company, 610 Anderson St, Charlotte, NC. The event is organized by the NoDa Neighborhood and Business Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, with net proceeds supporting community projects.
The course uses city streets with relatively flat terrain and small hills, and it is described as spectator friendly. Participants are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes; awards are planned for best costumes and for the fastest runners. A post run party takes place at Great Wagon Road Distilling Company. The event welcomes families, friends, teenagers, kids, strollers, and leashed well trained dogs.
Pre registration by October 15, 2026 includes a t shirt and a swag bag with local items. Packet pickup is available the day before and the day of the event. Winners must be present to collect prizes.
