The event promotes accessibility. Amputees are listed as eligible to run free with a special promo code available by contacting the organizer. Friendly, leashed dogs are permitted at the 5K and festival.
Move For Jenn provides grants for activewear prosthetics to people who have lost a limb to sarcoma or related diseases; these prosthetics are often not covered by insurance. Since 2019 the foundation has provided assistance to more than 65 children and adults and has donated more than $125,000 to targeted trials. For this event the Move For Jenn fundraising page shows $1,110.79 raised toward a $30,000 goal.
