Event Details
The Medal Madness event takes place at Lakewood Park Regional Park in Fort Pierce, Florida. The event offers three race distances: a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon.
Race Location and Course
The start location is by the tennis courts at Lakewood Park Regional Park, located at 5990 Emerson Ave. The course surface is asphalt. Bathrooms are located in the pavilion by the starting line.
Course Structure
The courses are out-and-back on shared loops.
- The 5K and 10K share a 1.56-mile loop.
- The 5K completes the loop one time.
- The 10K completes the 1.56-mile loop two times.
- The Half Marathon uses a 1.64-mile loop and completes it four times.
Registration and Logistics
All runners must register online via RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start and ends 10 minutes before. A course time limit of 6 hours applies to the event.
