The Osprey Trail Run
The Osprey Trail Run is a looped trail race held at the Oxbow Eco Center in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The event is scheduled for September 19, 2026 and is the seventh edition in this series of St. Lucie County trail races. Proceeds support St. Lucie County environmental education programs and the Oxbow Eco Center.
The race offers two timed distance options on a marked course with multiple loops. The 8k is roughly two loops and the 25k is roughly six loops; distances are approximate while GPS mapping and trail clearing continue. There will be at least two aid stations on course, including one manned station and one unmanned water station. Participants should bring their own water bottle for refill stations to minimize waste. Portable toilets will be available at the start and finish area but not on the course.
Additional race details include packet pickup on two days with a local Fleet Feet pickup option, limited entry spots for the 8k on a first come first serve basis, race shirts and other swag subject to change, finisher medals and awards for top finishers, and restrictions such as no dogs on the trails and no same day registration. The trail is not suitable for wheelchairs and course conditions may change as sections are cleared. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
