Thrive IRC Freedom 5K Run/Walk
Thrive IRC Freedom 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026 at South Beach Park in Vero Beach, Florida. The event includes both individual and team entries for a 5K run or walk and is organized to benefit Thrive IRC's mission to protect and empower the community by providing resources, prevention strategies, and recovery services that address substance misuse and behavioral health and promote long term wellness.
Registration opens on April 17, 2026. Individual registration and team registration have different closing dates; individual entries close June 15, 2026 and team entries close September 25, 2026. Early packet pickup and registration are available the day before the event at Thrive IRC, 2300 5th Avenue Suite 103. Race day packet pickup and registration take place at South Beach Park.
Event amenities noted by the organizer include T shirts guaranteed for the first 250 registered participants, post event food and beverages, and awards. Award categories cover overall top male and female finishers, age group awards for top three male and female finishers across multiple age divisions, top fastest team with a minimum team size requirement, fastest walk times, and top fundraisers both individual and team.
